I can't really complete this feedback - Quito was shut down because of riots. My dealings with the team was just fine, they must have been under enormous pressure but responded will and in the way that I hoped they would. I do hope Quito and Ecuador soon return to a stable and happy state.

Our family of 4 had a great day exploring Quito with our guide Pablo! Quito's historic old town is really beautiful, and we enjoyed learning about the history of Quito and Ecuador. The highlight of the excursion was learning about Ecuador's chocolate and the process for converting the cacao into chocolate. The chocolate tasting was also delicious! Exploring some of the side streets and enjoying unique ice cream flavors you'll only find in Eucador was also a lot of fun. Pablo is passionate and knowledgeable about his home country and city! He provided a lot of interesting insight and perspective. Definitely recommend this experience if you want to explore Quito for a day!

Our guide was AMAZING! He told us the details of history for hours and we could not get enough. Every place we saw he wove the whole history together, including ancient, colonial to modern. He even got us access to the closed independence square during a trade deal procession. His knowledge was astounding and authentic. He brought the current issues of Ecuador’s elections, currency chance and growing exports to life. We love cultural history, we came for a Galapagos trip but, he made Quito the highlight. If the urban adventure trips are half as good as him, we’re sold on them from now on!

Pablo was an excellent host and we talked about the history, geography, politics, markets and restaurants, economy, and lots of other topics about Quito and Ecuador. At the market, we met the various stall owners who were like his friends, with great discussions about food and barbecue. He showed the various neighborhoods as we drove around, and even got me to my next tour on time.
